Here’s a concrete walkway that had settled/sunk in Council Bluffs, IA.

We were able to lift the settled concrete walkway pad back into its correct position.  To lift concrete, we use our proven poly foam mudjacking process.  After lifting the concrete we sealed up the joints with contractor grade polyurethane caulking.  The caulking helps assure that water doesn’t cause this same problem in the future.  In this case, water entered between the stone and the walkway as well as a leak in the downspout.  As we see on most homes, water infiltration beneath the concrete is a very common problem. This client was listing the home for sale on the following Monday and was being proactive about the settling problem.  After the concrete was lifted back into position, she could check this off of the ‘to do’ list. If we can serve you in any way, don’t hesitate to contact us at 402-619-6116 or via our website.
