Here is a Omaha concrete sidewalk lift from this last week. The sidewalk had fallen nearly 4″ due to water running beneath it from the yard. This is just the type of settling that ends up tripping someone in front of your home.
We worked for a woman in the Omaha area recently who experienced the consequence of a settled sidewalk. She was walking in her neighborhood and tripped on a sidewalk that looked much like the one pictured here. She ended up with a broken nose, a broken wrist and a concussion from her fall on the sidewalk. Her injuries could’ve been avoided altogether had someone fixed the concrete problem.
Luckily, the homeowner with the sidewalk pictured was being proactive (they’d recently bought the home). We were able to use our Geotechnical poly lifting foam to lift the concrete sidewalk back into proper position. Not only did we correct this extreme concrete settling issue, but we also fixed the area near the top of the picture. In the ‘before’ picture, you can see that the sidewalk dips down and in the ‘after’ picture, you can see that it’s straight as an arrow again, just like new. We lifted concrete at this residence on various spots around their driveway as well. Our customer was exceedingly happy about the work we provided.
We’re proud of the work we do for homeowners all over the Omaha, NE area.
